Jose “Voodoo” Valentin was born in Fajardo Puerto Rico. As a young kid Voodoo interest turned towards poetry writing and music. At the age of 19 Voodoo decided to move from Puerto Rico to Texas where he struggled to find his favorite reggaeton music due to the genre not being recognized world wide at the time, so he decided to start making his own music.


      Voodoo gathered all his writings and began to release singles to the streets of Corpus Christi Tx where he gained all his fans support at that point in time Voodoo was invited to be a Co-host at one of Corpus Christi’s local radio station Hot Z 95 show called “Ritmo Reggaeton” where he expanded his reach to new fans and opened the door to work with the group Kingz One(K1) owned by Original Kumbia King members Alex (Pretty Boy Al) Ramirez and Roy (Slim) Ramirez as a writer for their “Resurreccion” Album, collaborating in various songs (Esa Nena, Rompe El Suelo, Tsunami ft Dj Kane, Un Camino and Con la Musica ft La Conquista.) with executive producer Chris (Esa Thrilla) Ramirez.In 2009 Voodoo moved to Houston where he continued his path towards his music career earning the locals respect due to his unique lyrical delivery skills.


      Later on that year was introduced to Juan (JV) Valentine by Producer Antonio “Titanik” Tejada and began to collaborate as a duo that they called Dovle V, gaining all Houston’s love and sharing stage with some of the most influential reggaeton artist in the industry like (Tego Calderon, Plan B, Yomo, Tony Dize, Dj Flex, Zion y Lennox, Alexis y Fido and many more)Dovle V has also participated in many Texas and Mexico festivals and continue to turn up the music industry with their unmatched style and Charisma.
